How do you burnout on a motorcycle?

Both have Keihin carbs and they are probably the same size bores or close (in Milimeters), but, I have a feeling the rack width is narrower on the newer bike. The spec sheet in the repair manual will tell you bore size and all the jet specs but will not give rack width. The only way to tell would be to hold them up to each other.
Even if they fit the engine they may not fit the older style airbox.
