Question:
I have a 49cc mini chopper built in China. It was working fine after the first two weeks. Then one day when I started it, the idling just went high and stayed there. Had to turn the key off to kill the engine. The throttle wouldn't return to its original position, and it feels very light, like there's nothing connected to it. How do you repair it? I'm a DIY guy and would greatly appreciate any help you may lend. Thanks!

You have a stuck carb slide.Unscrew the top of the carb where the cable goes in,and pull the slide out, squirt some wd-40 in there then put everything back together, and it should work fine.If not you could have a bad cable.ruff ryders who are 5 presidents of ruff ryders motorcyle chapters and there contact number?
sounds like your throttle cable either snapped or the slide is stuck in the throat of the carb. Follow the cable down to the carb and un screw the top where it goes into the carb. GENTLY pull up on the top and the slide should come free. If it dosen't don't force it . Just take it to the shop and have them remove it. if it comes free real easy check the cable to see if it is broke or jammed up in the housing.what size castle nut would i need for a 250 atv?
