Probably depends on the state law. A guy here in Milwaukee had that look going, we have no helmet law. But heed the advice people have. It will create some drag, and if you crash it could snap your neck.

No!! As long as it does not impair your visibility. State law can only say whether you have to wear a helmet, or not. They cannot say what type, out of liability reasons. You could technically wear a 2 liter pop bottle. Doing so may get you a ticket, but you could fight it and win. (This has been done)
