Question:
i was in the local powersports store the other day and i was told the cbr1000 would outrun the hayabusa to 170 but then the hayabusa would catch it and leave it..is this true?

Answers:

What do you think about banning motorcycles?...would u support it?...?

Look at any of the magazine comparos...ANY liter bike (1000 c.c.) sportbike will decimate most out of date 1200, 1300 sport touring bikes. Hayabusa included.

Lost my keys. how to start my kinetic honda without the ignition key?

You have to factor in that Hayabusa's been around since 1999 and not much has changed since then. Current 1000's make more horsepower than the Hayabusa, plus they're lighter. You're talking about 180 plus HP on the new 1000's...190 HP on the GSX-R1000.

Buggatti veyron vs. ninja zx14 ?

To most non-bikers, they completely bought the hype over the whole Hayabusa myth. The myth was true a long time ago...but it isn't true anymore. Suzuki really needs to go back to the drawing board and make the Hayabusa the all-so-fantastic hyper-drive machine it was back in 1999-2002.

Do you wear gear when riding to the gym?

To answer your question, yes, Hayabusa would eventually catch up once at about 170-180mph and slowly take the lead on the 1000RR. However, by then the CBR should be long gone, making the luring in a little harder for the Busa.

What makes a motorcycle difficult for begginer riders?

Busa has two things going for it...Aerodynamics and power. No denying that the extra displacement helps it muscle through at higher speeds. And the Busa isn't ugly for no reason at all...aerodynamics helps it cut through the wind at triple digit speeds. Something that the 1000RR lacks.

Trouble poppin a wheely on a dirtbike. Anybody got answers?

Don't know and don't care. The Hayabusa rocks.

How much would motorcycle insurance be, on average for a 19 year old with a speeding ticket? (in CA)?

stock vs stock the cbr has a 1/4 time of 9.898, the Busa is 9.88 and after that the Busa will walk away.

Tyre Pressures for MZ Skorpion?

I think you meant gsxr1000... that's all anybody ever talks about, "gsxr1000 is faster than a hayabusa!"... I hear it all the time, for 2 years at least. People say it like it means they know something.

Where is the battery on a 2000 Vino 49cc.?

Honestly, it depends on the rider. Launching a motorcycle takes more skill than launching a car. A good rider on a 750 will beat an average rider on a 1000cc any day of the week. I used to do a lot of drag racing in the 1/8 mile. Back in 2004 (I haven't been to the track since then) the Busa's were about 0.2 seconds quicker than the 1000cc in the 1/8, which is a significant amount.
But, back to your question, let's assume to equal riders. I would put my money on the busa, they are just more set up for drag out of the box. However, in my opinion, the 1000cc bikes are much better all round bikes, and plenty fast. If I were buying a bike to mod for the drag strip I would go Busa, but if it's a bike to joy ride in city, I would go 1000cc hands down. Just my two cents.

How many people ride in the Adirondacks during riding season?

I would take the Busa over the CBR1000 and I would take the GSXR1000 over the Busa.

Where is the absolute cheapest place I can get oem suzuki parts?

On the track (Road Race) the Liter bikes and 600s are king.
Im a twisty guy and wont be doing 170mph+ very often so Im not a busa fan but there are alot who are.
