Polaris snowmobile?

i have a 2003 edge 800. threw a rod once and now destroyed left side of motor. i want to replace entire motor but not with same one. what is a good option? build date was 7/17/02.

well i have polaris snowmobiles, and they always brake, and they kept on breaking while i had them until i actually replaced everything that had gotten broken before, so i would replace the engine...it worked for me, and i used the same engine i had before.

Pretty much any motor that comes out of an edge chassis polaris sled will just bolt right in like the stock one did. So theres many differtent engines you can put in there. As far as finding one I usually get alot of that sorta stuff of ebaymotors.com.
