You can not compare motorcycle financing to car financing. Cars are necessities, and financed as such. Motorcycles are toys, so getting a loan for one is much harder. There isn't really a minimum score, they look at your history as a whole. So, some people with a low score may get denied while others with the same exact score may get approved. Some factors that will greatly influence your chances of getting approved are the length of employment and residence and the debt-to-income ratio. I am not sure you need a certain score; there are other places to acquire financing. Does the person who wants to buy a bike have an employer with a Federal Credit Union? I'd look into alternative financing since dealers don't always offer the best rates anyway.
If you can pay cash (buy used) it doesn't matter what your credit score is.
Looking for good road trips in new england.?
A lot of it depends on where you go and what your credit score is. Some places will give a loan to nearly anybody. Another factor could be how much you are willing to make for a down payment. The more, the better. If you can put more than half down, go back to the dealer and try again. Just make sure that none of your bills are delinquent. What's the top speed of a yamaha ttr 225?
Dunno, I got one with zero credit. Works for me! Sorry this doesn't help you, but figured I'd put it out there anyhow.More Questions & Answers ...
