Want to change disc brake in rear wheel for pulsar?

i have a new pulsar the latest edition, the one with digital speedometer. i whant to chang the drum brake in rear wheel and put a disk brake. i whant to know the cost, where can i change, how can i change. putting disc brake will it creat any problem in performance of bike.i live in chennai

As your bike is of less cc(150 cc) ,it will not have much effectiveness using disc brake in rear wheel.It will take major modifications from chasis to the rear wheel assly.Also, the cost of rear wheel disc brake assly is much higher than the front brake.The total cost will be approx. 50000Rs. which is your total vehicle cost.

if u really want to put arear disc there is no modifiers out there who can do the accurate job because the disc used in ur rear wheel is a front disc most probly and there r only few disc manifacturers who produce rear disc and it is going to be expencive .advantages would be ,higher braking power ,catalist to ur speed ,but negtives u cant relay on it because the alterations are not safe enough and at the same time ur bike is brand new and this type of workes might not look good because u have to all the time adjust it and u have to do it unless u get the write settings if ur lucky enough u can get it write in the first etempt and i have one of my friend mark who does it to his new pulsar and he is facing couple of problems like if a bit of care lessness can slide ur bike at top speeds and need to be over concious and maintainence is tuf because mud flyes on to it because its write below the rear mudgur and have to clean it regularly
it got nothing to do with ur bikes performance and it not heavy so its not going to make any difference and i suggest to u that ur bike is new so first drive it for couple of months and when u get bored of it then put rear disc then there is something is different ok have nice day......
