i ride an xl1200r sportster here in ohio. any 3 digit road in the southeast section of this state is perfect for bikes; very twisty. state routes 555, 800, 9, 26, and 164 are some of the best roads i've ridden. beware of rt. 26: numerous tar snakes, and they had gravel in every turn when i was on it last summer. that road wont forgive a screwup. their hairpins are just that....hairpins.u could sign up to thise site. http://www.harleychatgroup.com . there's alot of women on this site (and they ride their own) besides men.

If you are any where around the S. Mississippi area there is a group of ladies called Women in the Wind, and as you can imagine they are a club of women riders. They occasionally let us guys ride with them.What scooter would you reccomend instead of an entry level motorcycle?

Of a true biker? How dare you, what makes you/Harley riders think you guys are the only ones with friends or for that matter you are the "only true bikers". It's been 2 weeks because of snow and temps under 30 that I have ridden and just so I don't go nuts I'm going to pay $50 to ride inside today just so I can ridewho would you let ride with you on the back of your motorcycle?

If youve only been riding a couple of years, you don't have any stories to share. Mabye you can get some when you renew the large "family of friends" that comes with your HOG membership.LOL!
My wife and I ride a lot.... We have a small group of on-line biker friends and we get together one a year.....usually 30 to 40 bikes. Some one different hosts it every year....we've been to Kentucky, Ohio, Texas....Last year it was Wisconsin...a 21 hour ride for us (spread over two days)......The hosts coordinates rides and lines up things to do during the day ...and at night we circle up the bikes and sit around drinking and lying most of the night...only to get up again the next day and start over...This year it's going to be in Eureka Springs Arkansas (which has some of the wickedest mountain roads in the south, lots of quick hard turnbacks.....floorboard draggin' roads.) During the rest of the year we try to keep up with each other through emails and phone calls. So I do know what you mean by being rich........ as for the Harley.....been there done that got the T-shirt (and keychain, coffee mug, stationary, toilet paper... is there anything they WON'T put their name on?).....My wife and I (and most of our friends) have moved on to the more dependable Japanese bikes (you would call them rice burners). My most worn T-shirt is the one that says "I eat Pork with my Rice"....lol..lol.... just think about it a minute....you'll get it...lol ...... I think of anyone that rides anything as part of the biker family. It don't matter if he has a Honda, Yamaha, Triumph or a Harley.
This just goes to show how harley riders think they are somehow better than everyone else.... and I don't see a question mark anywhere, so what's the question?
It's not the bike its the ride that makes the lifestyle. I own a harley, but I hate Harley riders that think they are better than any other bike out there. I ride with a group of five, we each have different brands of bikes and we never rag on each others bike. We just enjoy the ride.
Kansas has several women's group that are listed on the web, you didn't say where you were from so that's the best I can think of .. Kchrome Cowgirls I think is the way they spell it. oh wish i had read this better earlier .... hun got news for ya it's not what you ride but how you ride... i will refrain from getting graphic as that will servere no purpose.
How could you be so rich with friends if you put limits on your friends? Its the ride, not the bike.Maybe when you have been riding 20 years you will be a real BIKER and realize this. Cuz in the biker family, we don't care what you ride. Being on 2 wheels is what unites us.I think you have shared too many stories and should maybe listen to a few. I have a friend that was in HOG, but when hard times hit and he had to sell his Harley and buy a metric just so he could keep 2 wheels under him, his so called friends in HOG dropped him from their "friend" list. With friends like that, I hope you never get down and in need, cuz they won't know who you are.Many of my friends have Harley's but still call me to ride, on my Kawasaki. My Harley friends love this joke: We all know that 80%of Harley's ever built are still on the road, the other 20% made it home.
