Question:
Anybody have a problem with a Johnny Pag Spyder 250 with a jetting kit installed? My bike is Brand Spanking New and never has run well so far since purchased. It Stalls, misfires, and is underpowered and bobbles at 1/4 throttle then it would burst with power like something kicked in.(kinda dangerous) The owner of the company Johnny Pag says when there dealers do the work the float is removed only.Does that sound strange to anyone? Every publication on the web I read would say jetting is when you change the size of your jet in the carb for different fuel flow and floats are ony adjusted in height i never heard removed.Wouldn't that just flood it? I'm afraid to ride the bike to the dealership thinking I might damage the pistons or blow the motor since it's 100 miles back to the dealership in NJ. Any advice? I like the bike I just want it to run well and I'm starting to feel like I got ripped off by being sold a problem bike that they pushed on me. Though I got a good deal. :(

If you don't want to ride it to the dealer borrow or use a trailer to take it back. Your correct on the jetting aspect. Why was a jet kit installed in the first place? Pipes...Intake...they would be the only reasons to re-jet the carb. I would hope the bike came with some type of warranty that covers parts & labor to get you back on the road.Jetting procedure:
