Question:
Not counting going to rallies, etc. Actual planned trips for more than 500 miles. I'm planning on another one later this year up through the Midwest into Canada. Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton & Calgary then back down through MT, ID, UT, AZ, TX, etc...per my map program a total of 5136 miles.

How much is a 16000 mile service for a kawasaki zx6r j2 2001? and does anyone know what is replaced?
The old lady and I go on 3-4 a year.Mostly rallies Laughlin, 4 corners ,Hollister, but we do one late summer -early fall I refer to as" getting lost ". Pretty much, we decide which way N-S-E (we're in Ca. so west is out of the question) we are going to go.We just end up where ever we end up. We are usually limited to a couple of thousand miles as a week or so is all we can 'dissappear' for.** A note for those who don't like rallies,Laughlin ,Gambling , live music ,lots of food and xlnt riding. Hollister , Beach, skydiving and the above mentioned.4 corners ,just the ride there and back is a blast, but the event is wild. We use the Events as a base camp and ride the outlying area's.

How many bikes and when are you leaving?? always up for a good haul. if you get a chance to hit the mountains in Canada above washington state your in for a treat, absolutely gorgeous.Which sportbike should I choose?
For the last seven years I've gotten in at least one major (3000+ mile) road trip every year. I also get in several minor weekend trips every year although that has decreased a little in the last two years because I'm spending more time dirt biking and I've been doing some road racing - one weekend of racing requires the equivanlent of one weekend in the garage. What should i do for sell bike?
And they keep expecting me to show up at work once in a while too. I commute on a bike 19 days out of 20 from April to November and I get in some riding in the off months too.
When yamaha releasing its new gladiator?
I avoid rallies like the plague. I have no need to ride anywhere near a bunch of drunks that can't control their machines. If I want to drink I'll stay home, if I want to go to a party I'll have my friends over.
In 2006 I logged a little over 15,000 miles not counting dirt biking and racing.
Just bough an Yamaha R6 need new tires, dont know what size?
Have fun with your trip. Be sure to check out Monument Valley in UT, it's like riding through a cowboy movie.
Are there any black motocross racers out there?
Bob's right, rallies suck...nothing but a bunch of wanna-be's showing off, drinking, flashing boobs, etc. Nothing there that interests me. I still get in one long ride every summer (I'm 62) and a few three-day long weekend rides. I live in Wichita and one of my faves is to Eureka Springs, Ark. Nice town, nice folks, lots of shops and resaurants and some challenging curves and hills, even right in the town. Also like Taos, MN and Ruidoso and most out of the way places in Colorado. Don't like Vail, Estes Park, etc., where the "stars" hang out...too expensive and too many vacuous, gum chewing, cell-phone idiots trying to kill me. Over the years I've ridden all 48 lower states, most at least twice and across Canada twice...Kenny ;o) Ride safe! What octone gas should i run in my stock 2002 raptor 660r?
500 miles? That's a short overnight camping trip. A normal weekend ride would be 350-450 miles per day.2000+ miles, now we're talking. This is how I take nearly all my vacations. Longest trip I've taken as of yet was only about 3200 miles, but that's because I couldn't get any more time off of work and spent a few days with relatives along the way.
I usually do several each year. I stil like to go to a few of the rallies though they are full of trailer yuppies, rubs and even non riders. I wish we could go back to the days when these types were afraid to show at those events.
