Just used a MiniDV camcorder that had a "Video In" function, and ran one of a couple different bullet cameras to the camcorder. Powered the thing with remote controled car/truck batteries because they were small and easy to pack around. I had to work with several different mounting ideas and never got one that was Perfect, but there are better options for that now days (I don't run it anymore).
In playing around with the camera and mounting locations, I found that the closer you got it to the ground, the more exciting the video. So I had mounts that I could easily switch the camera to (just held on with velcro) that were on the front forks by the axle, just under the headlight, and one on the passanger footpeg, looking back.

Today, you could probably use the same bullet camera and a Personal video system like the Archos (or any of the other similar products) to make it even easier for the technically challanged to share (since there wouldn't be any video conversion the user would have to do on the computer).

Never did it (no helmet law here) but thought about mounting one to the handlebars. I think the wind noise would be so bad that the video would be unwatchable unless the volume was off.what is the diffrence between "v" engine and an ordinary engine(inline engine)?
