Where can i get replacement vin plate for motorcycle?

friend is emigrating and wants a vin plate on his bike , got all documentation etc and orriginal vin stamped on frame etc, but wants easy to read vin plate for bike also for customs etc. thanks

As long as the Frame and engine number are clearly visible and not damaged or show any signs of being tampered and match the ones on the Registration document that's all you need when the bike is in its new country send the V5 back to DVLA with the permanently exported part of the V5 filled in and then apply for reregistration in the new country

They may provide a plate that can be riveted somewhere on the body for easy reading. If he's trying to build his own bike, he'll need to go through the local department of transportation for their requirements on registering/creating a VIN number for/Insuring, etc custom vehicles.

cheeper than having one made.
or go to hobby shop for foil sheet,
as VF29-sand says its stamped into frame so no need for one,& will prob not take any notice of a new one fited to frame

he doesnt need another 1. it's already permanently attached. they will go by the original vin plate. most vin plates are already easy to read.

If it is a classic contact the owners club, making a new Vin plate is of course illegal, but that said blank plates are available for some bikes.
