I wouldn't worry about it ruining your helmet. I bought a Troy Lee air spoiler for my helmet, and also stuck on some reflective tape.

Why would you want to put that on your helmet, lol. That looks kinf of stupid. But i would imagine it somes with some sort of adhesive that glues on to your gelmet or sticks to it. Or maybe it has latches.

Why are there resistors in the spark plug caps of my motorcycle? What would happen if I took them out?

!!silicone suckers!! If you were to use anything that contained glue it could damage the helmet and make it usless in an acident. So they all have suckers as an attachment point.
Personaly i like the punk rocker strip down the middle of the helmet. It brings a smile to everyones face on a wet and dreary day.
