Question:
i have a 2006 4x4 foreman ES that will not shift at all. the ES doesnt work and the backup footshifter doesnt work. i was stopped and went to click it in reverse and it acted like it went in but it didnt go anywhere. now the R for reverse flashes at me 3 times, pauses, then flashes 3 times, etc etc.....is it the angle sensor or the electric shift motor maybee? any help out there?
Answers:
There are several components of the system that could potentially be bad, or, it could be something as simple as moisture in one of the component electrical connectors. That is where I would start if it was my machine, wash all the mud and crud off and let it dry. Then one at a time unplug the respective electrical connectors and blow them dry with an air hose and carefully reconnect. If that doesn't work and you end up taking it to a shop it will at least give the mechanic a headstart and save him some time and perhaps you a little money.
i have a water cooled mini moto and ive forgot the fuel mix setup, any1 help?
the problem is that its a honda try a suzuki way better quad.OK, I took the riding classes, now am looking into good starter motorcycle.?
Your problem is inside of the gearbox / transmission. This is not an electrical problem. If it was, the back-up manual shifter would still work. There is a part that is broken inside the trans that requires removing the engine from the frame. I cannot remember what honda calls this part but, it is a part of the shifter linkage. I called the honda dealer and told them my troubles, the dealer said this was a common problem.A 2006 model ? this should be under warranty.
