Why dont motorbikes \ scooters get cought on speed cameras?

Seems motorbike \ scooters dont get cought on speed camers I went through one at 40 in a 30 (first time and only time I have speeded ) zone it was working but it did not flash me do you have to be in the centre of the stripes on the road

Usually those speed cameras activate if you are going 11mph over the speed limit. And there you were just going 10 over.

They do catch bikes just as much as cars. Not all cameras are active and of the ones that are, not all have film in them. I guess the one you went though may not have been active. But don't get complacent, they swap things around to keep people guessing. A camera that didn't work one week could be working the following week.

Trust me, they do... i got busted once or twice, but mainly.. a lot of cameras you see are dummies, its usually the ones you cant see that get you a lovely little ticket through your door!!

The size of the bike is an issue, however the law requires that the speed camera must take the photo from the front and bikes don't have number plates on the front and therefore the rider won't get prosecuted.well not at the moment anyway!!
