Question:
that one could ride a chick comfortably on the back, is not made out of plastic and pot metal and looks sharp. Additioally one that would hold 75% of its value even after 10 years would be a plus.

Is a 1987 Kawasaki Ex500 "Ninja" a good starter bike for an 18 year old?
You are never going to find a 'comfortable' Japanese 'sport bike'. They just don't exists. As for one that will hold it's 'value'.....AGAIN, you are SOL. They are designed for one thing and ONE thing ONLY. Short rides with your crotch rocket buddies, be it male or female.
If you are LUCKY it will last '10' years. Longevity is not part of the deal with any 'sport bike.
You ole-lady will ALWAYS have her A S S in the air & knees in her chest, so much for her being comfortable, and that pee-pad she's on is less comfortable then the saddle she rides monthly.
For those suggesting a 'Gold Wing' because it's made in Ohio; I'd like you to remember this.............ALL THE PROFIT goes back to the Land of the Rising Sun.
2004 harley super glide rear lowering kit?
The closest I've ever, in my thirty years in the saddle, come to a 'sport-bike' was my 2000 X-1 Buell Limited Edition Lightening. It was uncomfortable for ANY distance over 150 miles, BUT you got there REALLY fast......and rice burners wanted no part in the throttle game. They all lost their nerve and gained a respect for H-D.
I would like to purchase a model of a suzuki 1400 motorcycle?
So continue you search and let us know when it's found. Like someone else here states, 'Bigfoot will be riding it'.
best stuff to clean a polished rim on a buell firebolt XB9R 2005?
This is a trick question, there is no such thing. Sport bikes are ugly and uncomfortable, they are built with one thing in mind ,speed. The owners of Jap bikes disrespect and thrash them so resale is very low.Every model of Japanese sport bike I've seen is built like a child's toy, plastic, cheap metal and crappy paint. I'd say your out of luck.does anyone know how to get rid of burnout marks?
well, you dont sound really experienced enough to be riding. you talk like a redneck and probably dont even have the ability to find a girl to ride on back. if you should succeed and make promises then buy a honda vfr with training wheels. at least a "jap" bike will not let you down on the highway like harley ablesons. every bike i have seen stuck on the side oft he road has always been a harley. no ifs, ands or buts.another option is to get a japanese cruiser bike, thats comfy and better for fat riders who need to get their dickeydoos in a comfortable position for cruising.
How do I get my motorcycle to start?
here is another tip, the accessories at the local harley dealer are all made in CHINA. yep, them Chinese are everywhere: )
Who would want to buy a 1957 Harley Davidson IronHead Sportser and how much would you spend?
a sport bike isnt designed to be comfortable on rides over 100 or 120 miles. they're designed for speed and high manuverability, and they get this from very lightweight aluminum frames and stiff suspensions.no rice rocket will do what ur looking for. buell's wont cut it either, tho their harley's answer to a sport bike.
if u want to do long rides, and have the backseater be more comfortable, a sport bike just wont cut it. u need a cruiser type. the heavier the bike, the smoother the ride because the weight dampens the bumps better. for extra long rides....over 300 miles in a clip, u'd be better off with a touring bike.
the only bikes that has been historically proven to hold higher resale is harley. i havent seen a metric bike yet having high resale after 2 years much less 10.
Was $4300 good for an 01 Honda CBR 600 F4i with 17000 miles on it?
there is a line called sport tourers. how they ride i dont know, but they have been on 'iron butt' rides...that is 1000 miles in 24 hours. their fairly new too so resale might not be all that great either.
XS400 1977 Yamaha runs on full choke... What do I do?
ManfomMumbai needs to get it right. The parts are Made in Taiwan, It's the boots that are made in China. (like there's a big difference! haha).Orange county choppers ! has Paul got a bigger "CHOPPER" than the rest of the gang ?
No matter how you spread it, it's still manure.
what stock should i buy with 600 dollars and why?
Ride on, I was going to say I thought better of you, but then I realized I feel the same way.
Mudslinging with cow droppings, haven't done that since I was a kid!
does anyone know of a good reputable motor bike repairer specialising in scooters?
Find yourself a used Goldwing. They're about the only thing that'll keep your passenger comfy..give you great touring range, but even used one's cost a bundle. They are worth it, however. They have awesome power for bikes so big, and they'll go and go until YOU die.i need a 1970 honda 350 motorcycle manuel?
There are other big bore sportbikes out there for some good touring but none are as reliable and fun as a Goldwing.
Look at the Yamaha FJR1300, Kawasaki Concours 14, or the Honda ST1300. Remember sport-touring is not a poor man's hobby. If you don't have $14,000 or really good credit, than find another way to haul your "chick" around.
How do I change the battery on a Honda Shadow 750 2005- where is the battery located?
Any one of the Big-bikes will do(Suzuki Hayabusa(GSXR-1300),Kawasaki Ninja(ZX-14), although sportbikes in general dont maintain value, because they are contantly upgrading the technology, unlike HD, Now if you dont want plastics, You can go with the ZRX-1400 , same platform as the big ninja but with out the plastics. Honda makes a good bike, called the intercepter its an V-4, like the Vmax, also there you go. you can go with Yamaha Vmax, its not techically a "sport" bike, its a power cruiser. but from 0-90 there extremely quick, beat anyother damn cruiser there is, and some sport bikes too( If you get a Vmax go ahead and convert it from having a drive shaft to a chain drive)Why are some people smart asses when answering questions about Harleys?
ctpaddler2000 gave the best answer. I'd recommend the Honda ST1300 for it's quality, dependability and longevity of it's engine. It's about equal with the Yamaha as far as comfort and handling. I'd shy away from the Kawasaki in this class of bikes. It doesn't handle as well as the other two and it feels extremely top heavy at slow speeds (high center of gravity). I'm not sure if Kawasaki has ironed out all of the problems of the previous years models. The Honda has remained the same since it's inception, so they got it right the first time. BMW makes high quality sport touring bikes. The only negative things I've heard about them is they're pricey and maybe a little heavy for new riders.how to find ouit what year my honda cr500 is?
I think when you find that bike you should take a picture because bigfoot will be riding it!!where can i find a 1970"s model husqvarna 250 cc dirt bike Carburetor?
Goldwing,2001 or later, its the ultimate Sport/Touring bike around. I love to blow past those kids on their crotch rockets on twistie roads and watch the expressions on their faces. It is the only bike my wife will ride on the back of. Just one problem with the Goldwing in reference to your question. The Goldwing is built in Akron, Ohio and actually has less "Jap" parts on it than most Harley's.VFR Interceptor 800 by Honda. It's the lightest of the sport/touring bikes. Sporty enough to hang with your buddies sportbikes and comfy enough for long rides. http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles...
