Even if you hooked up a remote trigger to crank the starter,consider the following:
1) someone has to turn the gas on
2) what about the choke
3) I have to pump the throttle a couple times to prime the carb if you do as well ,no remote will do that.

--A remote start would only work with a fuel injected bike or on some scooters. Because they have automatic "chokes". Fuel injected bikes use the computer, oxygen sensor and temp sensor to determine how rich of a fuel mixture is needed to start the bike.--Some scooters have "electric chokes". When the choke senses the temperature increase from the engine heating up, it slowly disengauges.
--Wait...you could hook up a remote start on a bike with a manual choke. When you turn off the bike, turn on the choke. This way it'll be ready for start up. But then you'll have to monitor the bike so it doesn't run rich when it warms up and foul the spark plugs.
--You still want a remote start? Go around to auto parts stores, automotive alarm installers, new car dealerships. They'll be able to tell you where to buy the remote start. Either follow the directions and install it yourself, or bring your bike to a motorcycle repair shop and they'll be able to do it for you.
--I don't recommend using one. Once the bike is started, anyone can just drive off with your bike. A car, the doors could be locked to keep people out.

You would need to disengage the wiring to the clutch, if you have to pull in the clutch to start your bike. Some have it some don't.Has anyone ever taken an ALASKA TRIP BY MOTORCYCLE?
