Question:
I do a lot of highway riding, and I don't want to yank the life of the motor by doing long distance riding on a small engine. Is there anything I can modify on the bike that isn't to expensive and would take some of the long distance highway riding strain off the engine? Thanks and Gig 'em

Is it okay to buy a black bike as a 1st bike?
Your V-star 650 should be quite happy running LEGAL speeds on any highway in the country. You may not be able to keep up with the big bikes who use engines twice your size, but highway riding at 55-70 MPH will not hurt your engine.I just bought a 2007 Suzuki gsxr 600. Its my first bike.?
The best thing you can do for it's longevity is to faithfully follow the manufacturer's recommended service schedule and use a good quality synthetic oil in the engine and transmission.
Has anyone made their quad street legal?
At legal speeds and reasonable takeout offs (most people hurt their bikes with burnouts and such) you will not hurt your bike. Keep the motorcycle well maintained and have a good ride.More Questions & Answers ...
