New To Biking.....Licence?

i live in England and have done the CBT and motorbike theory test...i want to do the practical test and get a big bike......i have been told that i should NOT try to do the test unless doing it with a proper training school.......True ? or not ?

Here in the states they offer training classes usually on small 125cc motorcycles. They teach the basics of breaking turning etc.. I've taken the class after many years of riding. I did learn somethings from it though. Never hurts to take riding lessons from a reputable outfit.

Is a 250 ninja a good beginner bike?

They also have advanced classes, However in these cases youbring your own Motorcycle.
