The costliest production bikes run around $30,000 US - highend Harleys, Aprilias, Ducatis, BMWs - and most are worth it.There are scores of small-run manufacturers (like Confederate Cycles that makes the Hellcat or the nice guys at Big Dog) and their bikes run in the $35-$75,000 US range.
And then (as noted) there are the custom-built, one-off, made-to-order bikes that can easily top $200,000 US (say, the cost of a small house).
If you wanted, I am sure you could find a builder who would craft you a solid gold, diamond-encrusted bike with platinum rims and on-board hot and cold running water. He might charge you a million or so, but that's what money's for, right?
