Don't bother with a 125, get a suzuki gn250. Just as compact, more power for the motorway and very very cheap to buy, run and insure ( in a lot of cases cheaper to insure and run than a 2 stroke 125)Can i ride a Jinlun on my CBT licence?
My girlfriend has just bought a gs500, great bike, quick enough and only cost £103 to insure!!
I need to know the value of a 1958 harley-davidson trike.?
Hi,I use a Honda FES125 scooter to travel across from east London to Chiswick and at the weekend travel up to Northampton to visit family via M25-M1 with no problems at all, in fact i think its a better option that the old Honda 250 superdream i used to to the miles on.
GOOD LUCK.
How do i know what da rite street bike for me?
I have a 4 stroke 125cc Kymco scooter. which I use for Central London. It does up to 55mph easily but can't get any faster than that. It gets away from lights very fast indeed. It's an automatic, as I believe all scooters are? I get away quickly and easily and usually leave the motorbikes at the lights still clunking their way through the gears.(mind you they soon overtake me!) It is about 4 years old and I only paid £500 for it and it has not let me down once in the year I have owned it. It's a great little bike!I just put a Vance and Hines pipe on my 1989 ninja 750. what jet kit do i need?
Any bike can commute in town easily so that isn't really an issue. No 125's are very comfortable on the motorway. Sure you can take them on (providing you have a full licence not just a cbt) in the same way that you can ride to Italy on a 50cc scooter but it's not recommended. If you really must then a 4 stroke is the only way to go. Yes they are slower but for motorway work they are much more reliable. Sitting at constant speed and high revs tends to kill 2 strokes. They like to be worked hard with lots of varied throttle and revs.
What is the minimum width of a wheel needed for a 200mm tire to be mounted on it.?
But as said, you must have a full licence to hit the motorways so why limit yourself to a 125. A 500cc such as a gpz500, gs500, cb500 ect is much more suited to the job and just as cheap to run as a 125.
I wana to purchase tvs economy bike tell me which one is better?
Hi,I would thoroughly reccomend a Yamaha Maxster 125cc, but I had a bigger bore conversion which boosted the power to 170cc. This may sound OTT, but allowed the bike to cruise at 70-75 comfortably, rather than ringing the neck out of a standard 125
Is there such thing as negotiation/haggling at a scooter store?
The fastest mode of transport across London is said to be the Gilera DNA 180. Not too many of them around but a really nice thing to ride. Should be suitable on the motorways aswell.More Questions & Answers ...
