They say top speed is 168, however, as a streetbike owner myself, you'll find there are many ways to make the bike go faster. If you extend the swing arm you can raise the top speed. For example. My 2005 Yamaha R1. Top speed of 170, I extended the swing arm, put on a power commander(computer generated--changes fuel & air intake), and steering stablizer (for handling). Now the bikes top speed is easily 210-230 (NOT SURE-- THAT's FAST!) If you wanna go faster than that. NOS.

I'm gonna have to call bullshit on the extending the swingarm to get more top speed. The length of the SA has NOTHING to with top speed. the only reason guys put extended SA's is mostly for drag racing and top speed contests. It extends the wheelbase so the bike won't so be "wheelie happy" when the throttle is full open.ducati 999 ...good bike...
