any bike can be geared to do just about any speed within reason. if you install a larger front sprocket and a smaller rear (with new chain) then you will get more top speed, but you will not have much in the way of takeoff speed. by the same token, if you use a smaller front and bigger rear, then you will take off like a shot, but your top speed will be reduced. if you want to make an old rd350 go faster, then i'd be more worried about upgrading the tires, suspension and brakes, as they were a pretty fast bike it the day, with slightly dicey handling in stock form. make sure you have the whoa! to match your go!

It would take alot of motor work to get a RD350 to 150. Alot more than gearing. If you want speed get a Hayabusa or a ZX-14 but keep the speed to the track. I have a R1 that can do 185 but that doesn't mean I do it.
