It varies alot...so to give you a guess at a quote would be foolish...you have to check through your insurance.If you got car insurance and they insure bikes too you should get it through them cause it will be cheaper (two vehicle deductions).

Hopefully you have had your same insurance company, as this will make it much cheaper. I have got quotes from Progressive and Geico, and they were twice as much as my insurance. At 36, it really depends on your insurance company. You won't get gouged as much as the under-25 crowd, but if you haven't taken an MSF course (my insurance company REQUIRED it before they would insure me) or have a few tickets it could be higher than you like.Just stay away from GEICO no matter what. They may be cheap, but when one of their customers hit me GEICO did not pay the claim. It was minor damage, but they care more about paying for caveman makeup and expensive CGI lizards than providing service, and you don't want to find out the hard way that GEICO will, without question, drop the ball when you need them.
