Could have been a Norton frame with a BSA Goldstar engine usually called a Norbsa but otherwise a Featherbed Goldie or occasionally a Norstar. The swing arm Norton frame derived from the racing Manx Norton was known as the Featherbed the previous one was the Garden Gate!
Other bitsas were Triton, greek god and Tri from Triumph and Ton from Norton, usually Triumph engine and Norton frame, Ttibsa, Triumph engine and BSA frame Nor Velo Norton Frame Velocette engine, Nor Vin, Norton frame Vincent HRD engine 500cc or 1000cc and the Little BSA Bantam with a Triumph Tiger Cub 200cc engine called a Bantam Cub.
There were even Noriels, Norton frame and Ariel engine hopefully a 1000cc square four but sadly 250 cc 2 stroke Arrow engines were used, When a Norton engine was fitted to a Matchless it remained a Matchless!

Quite a few people built "Tritons", using the Triumph engine and Norton's Featherbed frame. There were also a few "Tribsa" bikes built, using Triumph and BSA parts. Rarer still were "Norvins", using the more powerful 1000cc V-Twin from the Vincent Black Shadow and again the Norton Featherbed frame, renowned for its smooth handling. It could have been any of those, or perhaps something else? Some people will try any combination, so it's hard to guess.
