I need a good guide for cost estimates of old motorcycles does anyone know a sight?
Here's an exploded diagram of the entire gear shift mechanism - lots of springs and locator pins that definitely need to be properly aligned. You've probably just got one of the springs in front of a set pin, instead of behind it - that's why it shifted once and not again. http://www.yamahaoftroy.com/fiche_image_...Nothing you can do now except pull the clutch cover and clutch in order to get a iew of the shifting mechanism, something has obviously come unhooked or misaligned.
Has any one installed chromed handlebar grips on a Honda CBR1100xx Blackbird? If so, HOW!!?
Something may be caught and jamming the selector or the selector may be buggered.clutch cover off and see if the spring is on the gear selector, make sure that you have tightened every thing properly.easy to miss one nut or bolt.
