what is the best motercycle on the street right now because im thinking about buying 1?
Neither of the 1st two got it right.Do you know how to drive a geared car? If so, the principle is the same, just the levers are located differently.
What do you think is faster stock BUSA or ZX14R?
Location of levers: left hand = clutch, right hand = front brake and throttle, left foot = gear shifter, right foot = rear brake.
Gear pattern: usually 1 gear is lowest, 1 up from their is neutral, then each up is a higher gear.
Pull clutch, then shift gear from neutral to 1st. While slightly revving the throttle, release the clutch... slowly. As the revs die down (as the clutch engages), rotate the throttle slightly to keep the motor running. Once the clutch is fully engaged, you've down it.
how to gold leaf a motor cycle?
I suggest practicing on a little dirt bike off the streets.

Anybody know a good motorcycle club other than Golden Hawk M/C in Atlanta, GA?
I didn't like any of the first answers at all. First, the shift patter (which is usually done with your left foot except on some old oddball British or Harleys) is (starting from neutral) 1 down, then all the other shifts up you are nudging the shifter "up" to the higher gears, most bikes are 5 speeds so 1 "down" to get to first, the 4 "up" to get to 2, 3, 4, 5. To get back to neutral you normally shift down while driving to get to 1, then a slight nudge up and you noramlly have a indicator to tell you you're in neutral, or let the clutch out slowly to make sure it's out of gear. The shifting process is called "return shifting". You pull in the clutch with the engine running and push the shift lever down to engage 1st gear, them ease out the clutch and give a little gas to get the bike underway. This is probably the hardest part to develop a feel for. Once you are going and feel the engine is ready for 2nd gear, you move the toe of you r boot under the small bar on the shifter, pull in on the clutch and move you toe up as high as it goes. You won't go past second, it works sort of like a ratchet, just move the lever as high as it goes, then ease out the clutch again and your in second, you let the shifter rest then. Once you are ready for 3rd you do the same, pull in the clutch, then raise the shifter as high as it goes again and you can ease out the clutch and your in 3rd. It takes some practice to learn when it's time to shift, after time you just do it by ear or "feel". Each type of bike you ride will seem a bit different but usually you pick up on it right away.Down shifting is just the opposite, you press down to shift down and you can step down on the shifter as far as it goes, that's 1 shift down, then release, when you press down again that's the next gear down, etc.
