vespa 125 can anyone tell me where to buy cheap vespa px 125?
The Factory Service Manual is not just in Japanese, all those manuals have been translated to English for at least the last 20 years, and most likely much longer than that. Also, beware the crap that's sold on eBay... they're often (illegal) digital scans of poor quality and tend to be missing pages. Plus, they're illegal and I have to believe that Humans tend to be Good, thus they don't want to screw over a company/person/etc...
Do you know of any other engine that will fit into a peugeot speedfight?
If you just needed layout, I'd say hit up one of the online parts places like Ron Ayers or BikeBandit and look at the parts microfiche they all have online, for free.

I ride bikes as well, the problem with this is that most manuals come in Japanese only. You can get a 'general' service manuals for an R6 and R1 inclusive but they are for the more basic maintenance, like changing oil and brake fluid - that sort of thing. How much tread should be on a Bridgestone Battlax tyre? -180/55X17 bt020r -?

There are generally 2 publishers of repair manuals for your bike, one is Clymer, and I forget the other one..but I think it starts with an H....that's it..it's Haynes.Go to Denniskirk.com and see if the online catalog can't help you. That's where I got mine from for my Yamaha.
Crestec is the publisher of the official Yamaha service manuals. They are most definitely printed in English (good grief) and are available to the general public. They are full of useful information that no shade tree mechanic (or authorized service department) should be without.
Stay far far away from the Haynes and Clymer manuals. They tend to leave out useful and important information, and are printed so that each one covers a wide range of models, not specific as the factory manuals do.
Which Harley Davidson Softail model would you recommend?
If you have a good relationship with your local Yamaha shop (and aren't a mail order/Internet sales type) they will usually be glad to make you copies of the particular section of the manual you need as well as give you sound advice on the job you are attempting to do.
