Roads crack because of the weather. Cold causes things to be denser while heat causes things to expand. Roads are usually repaved in the springtime (if you live in the north), while the temperatures are rising.

If it was only a overlay it will crack again right where the old crack was , a lot of forces are at work here besides just the loading with traffic there is also expansion and contraction from temperature changes, Just look at the paint on your house ,why did it crack?Nothing drove on it.How do you kick start a dirt bike?
They build it to shallow into the ground. 4 feet deep roads like in Germany will never crack. It is called being cheap.ummmmmm, sorry dont know

if it is concrete then weather plays a big part you get it down but then the weather turns it does not cure properly and you get cracks. Asaflt is the same it dosen bind as well as concrete but it to will crack it is all in the preperation bad prep bad roadI want intrnational car licence in australia?
