How do you open the seat in a 2005 v-max motorcycle to get at the battery, please?
That bike would be worth alot to the right guy. To most every regular at CarQnA.com, it'll come as a surprise I know what this bike IS even, I used to really be into HD, but not anymore. Anyways, the Sturgis was, I believe, the first HD with a belt drive. I THINK it's just the secondary, not the primary, but can't remember anymore, might be both. BUT what has me curious, because of the color and the extra brass or "leaf" trim, is it might actually be a dealer award bike. Look on the cover on the lower triple tree and see if it says "Dealer Award" on it. In that case it would be worth more than a regular Sturgis. They only made one dealer award bike for each zone, I think maybe about 30 zones, but again not sure on the minute details. Then again, like anything else collectible, condition is very important, but anything should be able to be fixed up. If it's dealer award, the "leaf" I believe is all brass plated, and I would describe the correct color as a "rootbeer brown"
