A basket case is only good if you plan on taking a long time and getting your parts at swap meets. Some parts can be very expensive, otherwise. It would be easier to save the bank account if you start with an old runner instead. If you make your changes one at a time you can keep it on the road in between.

There ain't no such animal!! It ALWAYS costs 3 times as much and takes 4 times as long as it should, unless you're a professional with a shop. Keep dreamin', though--it's always good to have a dream.It depends on if you can a shop that can work with you or if you have the skills to do the work yourself.
