Defanatly. Alpinestars are sturdy, secure, and all around comfortable. They have more than dirt-biking boots though. I have heard that they sell many variteys of equpiment including helmets, gloves, and even shoulder/knee padding.If you are to dirtbike, then Alpinestars are the brand to live by.

most new dirt bike boots are good theses days,i have used alpine stars for the last 10 years with no problems and have found them very comfortable, and you can replace the sole on the newer ones. it comes down to buy the best you can afford, after all its your body and your comfort your looking after.I was just asking what you think of vintage MC I am proud of what i ride?
The Alpinestars Tech 10 are great. Another great boot is Sidi. Fox is also up and coming. Stay away from oneal.Oneal boots = junk.

There are many good brands. And Alpine Stars are good. But look for a boot that is comfortable. Especially if you plan too walk around much when off the bike or wear them for any length of time. At the same time however.. look for a boot that gives you the most hard protection and support. Unfortunately we've often had to give up comfort for protection. But products like boots are getting much better. There are several good brands. Alpinestars are one of the best boots out there, but there are many good boots. Many of the companies make boots ranging from just over $100 up to $400 plus so just getting a certain name brand doesn't mean you're getting a great boot.
