This really irritates me! I see it all the time. Mostly men, and grown men at that, drive recklessly on thier motorcycles. Some dont wear helmets, and they weave in and out of traffic, like they are invincible. I have known many men to die this way, and I wonder why people continue to do these things, knowing that they could lose thier lives. Is the adrenaline from it like a drug to them, or do they nt care. Even men with wives,children, and seemingly happy lives, risk it everday! Whats up with that!

I believe it is the adrenaline, the open road, and the ability to do more than you can in a car. Stuck in traffic? Not if you're in a motorcycle. I have heard they have the right to go in between cars when they are stopped, but I'm not sure when the cars on both sides are moving. I have known people who have passed away and some who still ride motorcycles for the thrill of it, less costly, and the need for speed. They don't call them crotch rockets for nothing.Carrying dog on the bike? Is it legal in UK?
I find it very annoying as well, but hey, it is their lives at stake and if they hit my car, I will sue them.

I'm assuming you are referring to the crotch rocket riders out there. Most, not all, but most cruiser riders don't ride as recklessly as you describe. The short answer is they are showing off.

ok, first off, the helmet. They do, especially depending on type of helmet, restrict your view somewhat. They are miserable to wear on a hot day for sure. There are many arguments as to the pros and cons on them and as adults, we like to think we can make decisions for ourselves. Not everyone riding without a helmet is on a death wish ride. I prefer a helmet on busy traffic roads and feel safer with it. On the back country remote roads I enjoy feeling the air whipping my hair and the freedom of the ride. As far as the racing and driving recklessly, these are mostly young kids or older men, lol, sowing their oats or trying to show off. Unfortunatly they give bikers a bad name. There is nothing "cool" about acting like an idiot on public roads endangering lives. Lots of the newer bikes are made for racing and should be kept on a race track. More and more people are riding bikes so please, like anything else you always have a few crazy ones in the group, dont judge us all by their actions.Does anyone suffer from carb-icing on a suzuki bandit 1200?

When I use my bike to maneuver better than a car, why do people get upset behind the wheel? I have not caused you any grief or delay. In fact, I may have lightened up your traffic load by getting out of the nest of cars you are in. Are you just jealous because you are stuck in traffic longer and it's not fair to you?

If you mean stunting ...adrenaline is my reason. That and showing off. Im an attention whore on my bike! When cruising in traffic and splitting lanes it might look wreckless to people in cars but more than likelly it isnt at all. As long as youre moving faster than the cars and paying attention!.. then theres less chance somebody will run up on you or merge without seeing you.Bikes are verry agile and quick to maneuver. Unless its a harley or a big bike.
