Pass on Victory bikes. They are made by Polaris...they are not a good bike for the money ...buy you a Honda , Kawasaki, or Yamaha. Those guys have been building this type of bike for a very long time.

Quality-wise, Victory motorcycles are equal with Harleys, and
they run about $600--$900 less than Harleys.
The biggest drawback is, Victory isn't available for custom
building and modifying. They also have fewer add-ons and
accessories.
Personally, I would spend the extra money to get customizing
possibilities and add-on accessories.
Is the yamaha yz250f a reliable bike?
They have been around for a decade now so they must be doing something right. You could go to their website for pricing. I believe tthey start out at 14,000 give or take. The one thing I wonder about is they only seem to have one engine size 100 c.i. Vic is a good bike , designed from the ground up with the financial and engineering force of Polaris behind it. Its considered to have the best air cooled American VTwin. They ain't cheap, but they are well designed and stylish.Motocross fun at hollister hills in california?
I f you just GOT to have a VTwin...buy a Honda VTX. Liquid cooled is more reliable an lives longer.
