I pinned mine on my Harley, just drilled a 3/8 hole in the bottom of the pipes and inserted a 3/8 stainless rod and tacked it in place with the tig welder. If you do this make sure they are the same distance from the jug. Other wise you will creat more pressure on one jug than the other one.

by placing a cover on the end of the pipe with a smaller hole say you have a 2 inch pipe with a end cap with a hole say 1 inch this would cause some back presure you may want to check with a local dealer with what type of hole you may want to place in the end caps or if a baffle cap or restrictor cap is available for your style of pipes from the manufactures or their recomendations with the wrong size hole you could hurt the performance or hurt internal engine conponents
