all engines have a rpm limit to keep the engines from committing suicide. u could have the limiter raised just a bit when u get the stage1 put on, but there will always be a limiter. it would take a hell of alot of speed to trip the limiter in 6th gear.

Some of the aftermarket motors I have used have pre-programed 'break in period'. For a set period of time/ rpms the RPMs are limited to protect the motor during break in.
I have heard Harley uses this pre- programed break in as well. It is "hear say" so I can't swear to it, but it makes sense.
