Ducati 999rThe fastest production bike is the ninja zx14 without a dought.stock it will run 9sec 1/4 mile it has the most rwhp and also top end is over 200mph , I have a few mods such *** full mzzy exaust,power commander , and an on screen fuel adjustment. I have 210rwhp a 8.08 1/4 mile and a top speed of 213mph and can prove it anytime. I also have an 06 busa and its no match. the bikes are shown on my yahoo 360. The bike do have a limiter but a power commander gets rid of it. The big talk of a 1500 busa for 07 is just that talk.As it stands now suzuki has no plans to change the busa until 08 or late as 09.The ninja zx14 has no change for 07 except color scheme.

Right after the Busa came out there was a gentleman's agreemant with the Japanese manufacturers to limit top speed to 300kph/186mph so now that top speed is not an issue anymore the focus is more on acceleration and handling.
