I have a pocket bike and pull start having problems?

i got a new pocket bike and the pull starter is pretty hard to pull to make the engine start. how do you overcome this problem? also when i ride it, it doesnt go fast how do i break in my engine?

Have you compared how hard it is to start and it's speed with another of the same model? If it's new and not up to performance you should return it for repair or replacement!
