We would like to start a club in NC.I have met and gotten to know some of the clubs around here and have found that they do not fit what we want to be...so how do I go about starting a club...forums...bilaws...and what not

For the easiest start, go to the other clubs in your area, and sit in on one of their meetings. then, ask the club president or secretary for a copy of the by-laws, constitution, etc. Then go to your home and edit the information you got to fit your organizations needs. Gather other people with the same interest as you, and hold a meeting. It can be in your house, yard or where ever. Put up flyers around the areas, where the people you want to join have the information needed to attend the meeting. Then, begin. Go over "your" Constitution, by-laws, etc and talk with the other people, then go for it.Be a professional motor driver & study about mechanic ( automechanic ) & cash & at first be a member of a motorctcle club for working there & biking , write your expreance then try to get the place for it & build it ,

Make damn sure you have the ok to start up your club from all the other clubs in your area. Flying colors without the permission of the local clubs can have heavy consequences.What do you think about banning motorcycles?...would u support it?...?
Its probably a good idea to start by contacting NC Confederation of Clubs or attending a CoC meeting.Different kinds of clubs have different kinds of structure.

Have you considered "Christian Motorcyclist Association" if you do a yahoo search you can find your local group on their website. If there aren't any in your town they will tell you how to start one and what is required. Be careful with just getting a bunch of friends together and starting a club. You may find yourself legally responsible for damages and or injuries as the leader of your group. This is why it is important to understand everything first before deciding your next step. If you have the backing of a national or worldwide group like "CMA", you will learn what each member is responsible for. A Friend of mine moved to Winchester, VA. Since they did not have a "CMA" Chapter there, he contacted the State Coordinator and they helped him with everything to start his group. If you try to do it alone have a lawyer give you advise, you don't want to be sued for something one of your members done.
