I'm looking for a Honda Dirt Bike?
I have a 2004 Sportster and ride quite a bit with other members in our group who I jokingly say don't know any other speed than 70-75 mph on the highways. I have never had any problems keeping up with the "Big Boys" I am very happy with my Sportster and never had it in the shop once except normal suggested service. Just like new car dealers have suggested maintenance so do new motorcycle dealers. 26 times in the shop in one year is hard to believe, unless it was a lemon and if this was the case then this guy should have used his state's lemon law to have a new one to replace the one having the problem. Beside this Harley is real good at honoring their warranty. The 2004 and newer sportsters have rubber motor mounts which makes them a much smoother ride. I personally got the 883C because I wanted the larger gas tank. The only thing I have done to it was replace the stock seat with a touring seat, put on a sissy bar and windshield. It is a great bike for being one of the least expensive Harleys you can buy. I will eventually move up to a touring bike, when my finances permit.Yes and yes. Better bike and more powerful than most people need.

To give you an example. I had a Honda Shadow 750 from 1995-98. I weigh 230 and am 6'2". When I rode it, I could travel on any road in the US and keep up to everyone else. Except when I carried a passenger. Whenever I did that, on a hill the bike would slow from 65-70 down to 50-55mph. I then bought a Harley sportster 883, and rode it for 2 years. I once took my nephew for a ride. He is 16, is about 5'8" and weighs about 150. He asked how fast it will go, and traveling on the highway, up and down hills, I stopped accelerating at 90 mph. It could go faster, I just wasn't willing.How much is a 2006 Harley Davidson 1200 low worth?
Well... I disagree with the second guy! I have a 2006 Sportster 883L and my friends 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 is faster than mine! enven with a passanger on it!One advise... Don't buy H-D's! I had mine for a little less than a year and it has been on the shop 26 times (tks god for the extended warranty)! My wifes Shadow750, my friends shadow 750 and my other friend with yamaha don't have that problem! If you get one make sure you get the extended warranty! You'll need it!
