First ... turn the key to on. Make sure the fuel valve is on if it's a dirt bike. If it's electric start, turn the key to start, if it's a dirt bike, jump on the kick starter on the right side. In all cases, MAKE SURE IT'S IN NEUTRAL BEFORE you try to start it. put it in neutral most likely. then slowly release clutch down to first, then up two notches to second and so on,if you do not know how to drive a stick shift, this will be difficult.

on - turn the choke to start - turn the kill switch to run - turn on the key and press the starter button (or kick start it).
Oh...I almost forgot. Every Suzuki street bike - the clutch lever "has" to be pulled in. Whether the trani is in neutral, or in gear.
