Which would you get...Blade or R1?

Question:
I'm thinking of treating myself to a new bike. I've got it down to a choice of two, the new Blade or the new R1.

Is there a law about motorcycle streamers?

Can anyone give me their first had experiences of these bikes??

I have a 04 R1, and have ridden a friends 05 RR. These aren't exactly 07s but that's as good as I can do. If you have alot of seat time I think the R1 is probably the better choice as it can steer very quick. The Honda is way more forgiving however if your skills aren't the highest. That being said I would be happy with either bike. I don't think any of the big 4 makes a bad bike, buy the one that talks to you.

Does anybody know where i can get a relatively new (2000 onwards) motocross bike in need of restoration?

I've ridden everything. I like 600s for all around enjoyment of the ride, but between these 2, R1. Its a great bike.

How long does a yamaha r1 engine last if it is well kept.?

Both are good but the Honda is a better all rounder on public roads. More forgiving for little mistakes with handling.
