Any information about the ZZR 600?
I remember it well, in fact, my 72 S2 350 is alive and well, beside my A1SS Samurai 250, and in between my line of H1 500s, my H2 750, my Z1 900, and my KZ1000.All H1 models had a steering dampener. The real trouble was it was too short, and the frame flexed too easily. The brakes were not good enough for the power, and there was a fire hazard on early models. I also own a BSA Rocket 3 Triple, that is just as fast, and much faster on top end. the frame issues became most evident on the Z1 900, a very high performance machine, with a frame that isnt close to strong enough. They were known as the Flexible Flyer. Entering a hard corner, the front end simply bent out from under it, the harder the turn, the more it bent. People all across america are installing those insane 2 strokes into good chassis, and building the superbikes they were destined to become. A braced up H2 750, with a monoshock rear, and a dual disk performance front end is a work of art, and many are either running or being built.
I wanna get an ideal bike in the terms of looks, mileage & cost...your suggestions are welcome?
yesI wana get my motorcycle license. What do i need to go trhough to get it?
Yup...But I had the S3 400 :) Really bitchin bike. Sold it in 97 :(400 was very sweet, went well, but handled like a three legged donkey. The 750 was an animal, went like stink, but handled like the three legged donkey on dope. They chewed spark plugs and were really very thirsty if you opened them up - which is what everyone did. The performance was fine, but the handling was the big problem. Lots of them got crashed. I once saw a 750 in a special frame, from Spondon I think, but I'm open to correction. I also knew of one in a Norton Featherbed frame. The owner said it handled like a Norton and went like a banshee because he could really open it up. After the Kwak I discovered Ducatis. Plenty of performance, but light years of difference in the handling.
Need info on 85 honda interceptor?
I'm old enough to remember long long, way way before themBSA Goldstar DBD34. Triumph Bonneville, Norton Dominator and then Comando.
Sorry was I going on
Yes, I am that old. I have one in the backyard gathering rust if you need any parts.
How many miles can you get out of a set of tires on a street bike?
I had an H1 and H2. By the way the H1 had a nickname. It was called the widow maker. The first models didn't have a steering damper. They were out of control at high speeds, hence the widow maker moniker. A worked H2 would make you crap your shorts when you hit it in first gear. They were scarry.Whats the diffirence in these two dirt bikes?
Had an H2 (The Flexy Flier) . . . . A truly dangerous bike. LOADS of fun provided you could keep the back end going the same direction as the front end AND keep the front end somewhat near the ground in front of you. I would describe the handling like the aforementioned doped-up three-legged donkey on a great field of fresh goose poop.As to you still being alive . . . perhaps you have just lived a good life OR maybe you have a relatively tame one (again, it's a relative term).
