I have a 2001 Yamaha R6, need new clutch leaver?

I have a 2001 Yamaha R6 and my clutch cable broke, where can i get a new one online. i checked e-bay they don't have any.

I'm a firm bleliever in OEM parts. Sorry to hear the cable broke. A good shop should be able to fabricate what you need but they do need the right nibs and tools to cut and solder to hold it all together. The newer cable housings are lined and that's why Yams are usually easy to pull. Oil the housings and getting that attachment to pressure the lube in works also. Gravity works best. When you get it just dribble oil down before you hook it up to the lever. Find a good Yam authorized parts dealer and talk to them or get it where they guarantee. All Yam parts have the parts number on it.

I stop in my dealer regularly, they now give me a discount. These are the sorts of things that should be done by you but if u are far away it may be cheaper to do it online. g'luck

buy from a reputable parts dealer, not something used - it will be much better to spend the money on a new part. Any motorcycle shop in your area should be able to order one for you, and most have online ordering.

If you need one in a hurry & the local Yam dealer dosnt have one..go to a place in your area that make flexi drives...they can usually repair the one you have(depending where it broke) or make you a new one...for about the same cost ...
