Is it easy to steal a motorbike?

i really wouldnt be too concerned with hp. i own an '05 roadster and i'm happy with it as is out of the box. typically, a sportster will have approx. 50 hp out of the box. our bikes will never have the raw acceleration of a liter rice rocket. it just wasnt designed or built to rival the sr-71 blackbird.
u could tho put in different cam's that is alot more torquey for the low/mid range power off the line, or u could have them on the high performance end.

Is $4500 worth it for a 2004 Ski-Doo MX Zx 440 rev racing sled?

You won't get that much from a Stage I, but you will notice the difference.

Which one: 2007 Yamaha R6 or 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650R or 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600?

Ummh? Harley doesn't list the HP on its web site either. I don't think they are real proud of it. They list the torque as 79@3500 so you gotta know they are measuring it! Motorcyclist Magazine lists in their specs that they dyno'd a 2004 Sportster 1200 Roadster at 64.4HP@6000 rpm. they read torque 72.7@3750 so that torque sounds pretty similar to what the H-D web site has. This is an under square engine (long stroke - bore less than stroke) so getting a lot of RPM and HP out of it is problematical. BTW - Motorcyclist data says the above bike did 1/4 mile in 13.02 sec/100.03 mph.
