In a word, no. Why would you want to have a bike that only a few hundred people in the entire country are really capable of riding to its limits? (Not to mention, maintain in top shape.)How much would a 1980 Royal Enfield cost ?
NO!!! Your out of your freakin mind if you think that's a good starter bike. Start small then go big. Use your head man...Honestly, I do not think that this would be a good starter bike, the speed to this thing is amazing and from a girls perspective, I know alot of guys who ride bikes and not saying that you would be one of them BUT in most cases, a guy on a fast bike is going to show out a bit if they see a chic who s in the least bit interested, and that in turn is going to be dangerous..
I myself have an 800 Boulevard.. I started out on a750, and it was great but then again neither one of them are "crotch rockets" lol.. a good starter would be either a Katana or a GS500 as far as the cafe style bikes are concerned..
But that is just a thought.. Hope you find one to your liking.. LFRF!! Take care
