Question about breaking in a honda XR?

Question:
I bought this dirtbike that been re-built. Its a Honda XR 610 (was a 600 but was bored).. i just wanted to know how long to wait till i can open it up, till its broke in. Ive been told anywhere from 100 miles to 800miles to a 1000... anyway what do you think??

I am scooter &motorcycle mechanic .can i get a job abroad. i am 41 yrs old.?

take it easy for the first tank of gas,make sure to keep an eye on all the nuts and bolts and the valve clearances, open it up a bit more for the next tank of gas. change the oil and filter make sure every thing is tight clearances are good, then go and have fun..

just ride it easier for a little while. keep the engine speed varying. (not the same speed) and don't over rev it. you can still open it up just not constantly. oh also it's probably not a 610. if it's just bored out a little it's probably still right around the same size as it was. boring out doesn't open the cylinder up that much. good luck and have fun.
