I hear yes and no's for a gsxr 750 being an ok beginner bike. What are your thoughts?
Some machines I would consider for your size would be a Yamaha Raptor, Polaris Predator, Can-Am DS650 or even their Renagade. The Renagade is a 4x4 machine that is powered by a 800 cc Rotax V twin motor. It all depends on what your riding style is going to be and your budget.
based upon my experiences riding quads, and given your information. i would have to say a good quad for you would have to be either a 450 or a 500.
they have alot of power, and most 500s are quite large and luxurious.
My brother-in-law is about your size and he rides a 500 cc Polaris. I am not crazy about Polaris bikes, but his absolutely screams. His has a manual clutch and is chain driven like most sport quads are. I am not quite his size, 5'8" 190 lbs., and I ride a Yamaha Raptor 350. His is bigger and faster than mine, but he can ride mine comfortably to. I would suggest going to the different dealers and sitting on them, and most dealers will let you ride them a little.
Go for the Polaris Predator 500. I've got 1 so I'm bias.
Have a 1983 honda nighthawk and it has a problem keeping a batteries charged.?
I'd probably go with a raptor 700 or the Kawasaki KFX450. Just depends on your liking.More Questions & Answers ...
