It could be a weak battery,take the battery and get it load tested.It could also just be corrosion on the battery terminals,dirty connectors at the starter/solenoid.Make sure all connections are clean and the battery has a full charge.Has anyone successfully installed a electric supercharger on their motorcycle?

check your battery connections take them off and clean them up ... if that doesnt do it you have a bad batteryThe starter solenoid could be defective (the positive battery cable goes to it).
Feel the solenoid when you push the starter button. If the solenoid is doing the clicking, then replace it.
When you push the starter button, the electromagnet in the solenoid won't hold the "contact" in place. The clicking noise is the contact jumping around inside.

The same things happens on my Yamaha TT-R 125LE dirtbike when the battery is low or weak or cold. Use a back-up starter if you have one or bring the battery inside your house and charge it so it warms up. Then go try again.P.S. After I ride my bike and the battery is charged and warm, the electric start works fine with no clicking. And the clicking on my bike sounds like it is coming from the starter motor.

If U connect a voltmeter across the battery with the ignition etc off, it most likely will show 12 volt plus. If the starter is engaged check the voltage on the meter. A flat battery will drop to like 3 volts or something. This sounds like a very low charge in the battery.Just curious,, who wears a Shark motorcycle helmet or an AGV helmet?
