Will a stock 1995 kx 250 run with a new 250?

most people i ride with can't hang with me a 96 rm 250 with a pipe and a few other preformace part is adout the same as mine.

a good rider on the kx will smoke an average rider on a new bike any day, could even hang with or better a 450..but put a ride of equal ability on a new bike and it would be a different story..
